Couple of interesting things at the beach. First is this new Mr. Butts "no smoking" campaign drawn for the City of Santa Monica by Gary Trudeau.
Then there's the recently restored local sculputral favorite Walk on L.A., which is essentially a giant concrete roller. Occasionally the city tows it across the sand to produce a relief map of Los Angeles.

More tennis madness this weekend. This time it was to see Kim Clijsters whack the ball around with her crazy forehand hop-turn stance.
The night ended with fireworks which rivaled ole Boston's 4th of July display along the Charles River.
