	12 December 2003 NEW IM2 FOR YOU. "In a night so black to be almost green, a passenger awaits their lottery fate." I'm working on a new, even tinier version of IM2 (my sokoban-style adventure game). So far it's very, well, small. And cute. Look for it in the future.   Back to main BACKWARDS WORLD. Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a thought across my head. Many questions, presented here as a convenient bullet list for those with busy lifestyles, about why so much of our lives are lived not normally but, in fact, backwards. Why do we pay more to live in smaller spaces? Why do we pay more for food that has been processed less? Why do we spend the majority of our day away from the people we love? Why do we spend the majority of our day indoors, when we live in one of the sunniest areas of the country? And why are we okay with paying extra money to visit places that are just as sunny? Why do we pay for things we don't need with money we don't have? If sex is everywhere, why are so many people not having enough of it? If having a sexy body is so important, why is physical activity so ridiculed? Why do we spend so much time doing things we don't want to do? Despite all our time-saving conveniences? How does one "save" time? If we're emotional creatures, why do we pretend to believe in absolutes such as logic, utility, and obsolescence? If God loves all his children, why are almost all churches segregated by ethnicity? Why do we lie, lie, lie, so much, every day, to everyone we meet? Is everything really just about shopping?
